Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychological therapy designed to help people process traumatic experiences and reduce the emotional distress associated with them. It is recommended internationally as an effective treatment for trauma-related difficulties, including post-traumatic stress.
I am an accredited EMDR practitioner, trained in both trauma-focused EMDR and attachment-focused EMDR, and I integrate this work with my background in developmental trauma and neurodevelopmental psychology.
EMDR therapy is not simply about revisiting difficult memories — it is about helping the nervous system process experiences that have become “stuck”.
In my practice, EMDR is always delivered within a safe, paced, and relational framework. Preparation and stabilisation are an essential part of the work, particularly when supporting individuals who have experienced developmental trauma, attachment disruption, or complex life experiences.

I accept health insurance, although clients are encouraged to confirm their level of cover with their provider before starting therapy.
Due to demand, I currently operate a waiting list for EMDR therapy. Please feel free to make contact if you would like to be added to the waiting list or to discuss whether EMDR may be appropriate for you.
If you would like to enquire about EMDR therapy, please use the contact form on this website or email directly. I am happy to discuss whether EMDR therapy may be helpful for you and answer any questions about the process.
